Established in 1967, the "Cavour" Regional Enoteca was the first to be founded in Piedmont and the second in Italy. Although it showcases DOC and DOCG wines from the entire region, the majority of products are from the Langhe and Roero, foremost amongst these Barolo and Barbaresco. The Order of the Knights of the Truffle and W ines of Alba celebrates its Chapters in the splendid Hall of Masks. Other rooms of the castle house the new Museum of the Langhe, with a wealth of documents about the history, culture, productive activities and the geography of the Langhe and Roero regions, plus an ethnographic collection of Cavourian relics and period furnishings.
