Located in the heart of the Montefeltro area of the Marche, a short distance from Urbino, and just 20 km (12 miles) from the Adriatic coast, the Tenuta Santi Giacomo e Filippo is set in the verdant splendor of the La Badia nature reserve, where vineyards cling to hillsides, alternating with woodlands, and punctuated by small lakes. Named for the saints Giacomo (James) and Filippo (Philip), the estate (Tenuta, in Italian) is the fruit of an extensive restoration, of a centuries-old farming community (borgo, in Italian).
