Visita Lucera

Lucera is a treasure trove of art and culture, located on three hills from which it over looks the Tavoliere tableland,a land full of vineyards.The thick city walls,built by Charles II of Naples,used to have five entrance gates, of which today only Porta Troia still exists. Pyrrhus and Hannibal fought against theRoman Empire.Inside th ewalls,the town is gathered around the historic centre,with the elegant noble palaces and the Renaissance churches.
