Tasting of “Pecorino cheese of Pienza”
An ancient culinary excellence of Val d’Orcia!
We will visit a local diary farm where an expert will tell us about the history and traditions related to the "Cheese of Pienza" and illustrate the productive organization of the company with the various stages of production and maturing of cheeses. After our visit we will taste cheeses produced on the farm accompanied by cold cuts and salads. Guests will be guided during the tasting to learn more about the characteristics of the products and their qualities.
